Hi, my name is Alexandra Jugović

Creative Leader, Consultant, Artistic Director, Founder at Yūgen Studio & Hi-ReS!
Designing Experiences that Connect ARt, Technology, and Humanity.

As a fine artist, I strive to craft experiences that are memorable – for their beauty, their otherworldliness, their ease of use, their story and their impact.
In my work, I explore the essence of what it means to be human now. I love to design experiences that connect ARt, Technology, and Humanity.

Today I work as a consultant with individuals, small groups and larger multidisciplinary teams.

I'm a hands-on practitioner, applying my extensive expertise in fine art, AI, design, and storytelling to every project to deliver high standards of innovation and craft.
I have been responsible for providing creative leadership while attracting, inspiring, and retaining exceptional talent.

I've been frequently recognised in the past 20+ years and listed as one of the world's most interesting creative leaders. I am a voting BAFTA member, and I regularly attend award competitions as a judge, including D&AD, Art Directors Club, ADC Young Guns and One Show. I co-authored 'Amantes Sunt Amentes', chronicling Hi-ReS! history (192 pages and DVD).

I have won numerous awards for my thinking and my work – BAFTA, Webby Awards, D&AD Pencils, Cannes Cyber Lions, Clios, One Shows, Prix Ars Electronica, LIAA Grand Prix, LIAAs, Art Directors Club, EPICA, ECHO, and 30+ FWAs. I have been featured in more than 70 books, countless magazines, and my work has been exhibited at Tate Britain, the V&A, the Barbican Galleries and a touring exhibition.

In 1999 I co-founded the iconic London studio Hi-ReS! As Creative Director, I worked with major artists like Darren Aronofsky, Bernardo Bertolucci, The Beatles, Massive Attack and Beck and brands including Chanel, Jägermeister, SONY and IBM.

Hi-ReS! was a creative agency focused on ideas, interaction, and craft, with innovation at the core of everything we did. I helped establish the company as a leading independent interactive design agency, with strong relationships across our global client base – Paramount, Dolce&Gabbana, BMW, The Economist, Nokia, Channel 4 UK, Rizzoli New York, Playstation, Diesel, MTV, Warner Brothers, Toyota, and artists Rhianna and Goldfrapp.

Following Hi-ReS!'s acquisition by SYZYGY (WPP) in 2008, I remained in leadership to oversee the transition, maintain the company culture, and grow the studio into a global powerhouse across London, Berlin and New York.

In 2016 I left Hi-ReS!/ Syzygy Group and joined Publicis Sapient to push their creative output. I created innovation opportunities with existing and new clients that focused on all types of digital business transformation for Amplifon, Unilever, Nissan, J.P. Morgan, and PGA European Tour.

If you are interested in working with me, please contact me. I'd love to hear about your project. And as a collaborator, I can bring in talent as needed to bring your project to life.
