As customary, the campaign was lead by an epic film - shot by Jean Pierre-Jeunet and featuring Audrey Tautout. What was revolutionary was that the film premiered online only.
Our collaboration with the legendary house of Chanel began in 2010, when we were entrusted with the digital campaign for the relaunch of Chanel Nº5. At the heart of the campaign was an iconic film shot by acclaimed French director Jean-Pierre Jeunet, starring Audrey Tautou. Breaking from tradition, the film premiered exclusively online, marking a revolutionary moment in digital-first luxury storytelling. Our work encompassed art direction and the development of both traditional and digital components. Alongside the campaign’s print and film assets, we created a rich, immersive microsite dedicated to the story behind the Nº5 campaign film. The microsite invited visitors into a world of unspoken connections, fleeting opportunities, and romantic allure aboard the Orient Express. Through an exploration of the film's creation and the symbolic nuances behind the Nº5 fragrance, we crafted a digital experience that celebrated Chanel's timeless elegance and the storied mystique of its most iconic scent.
