Thoughts shared by email which you can touch.
Our passion and our job are to make the ephemeral visible. What starts as an idea in the mind of many becomes a reality through conversation, collaboration and creation. Conversations about the ideas are arguably the key part; they're also the most intangible. So what if we could make it tangible the same way: Thoughts shared by email which you can touch? A memento which celebrates the process and possibly outlasts the result? Using emails from our clients we sculpted the thoughts they shared with us into a unique sculpture. Ravelled together the sentences reveal the sentiment within the email. We wanted our clients to feel the weight of their thoughts and how their thoughts made an impact throughout their creative involvement in the process.

Making-of
For the design, we wanted to make the words clear, large and place an emphasis on the most positive sentence within the email. For this, we used sentiment analysis. The sculptures were generated using a python script for Maya and 3D Printed by Shapeways.
